Over the weekend, Emma Schaberg and Andrea Rosado, blogs linked below, shot our plates for Project 2. We were originally going to shot at Forsyth or a very sunny spot, but it rained much earlier that day and that was the only day we had to shoot so we had to make do with inside shots.
This is the background plate for the plate I would like to work on.
Here is the same plate with my rock for reference.
We also made sure to get the images with the HDRI with different exposures to put them together and the styrofoam ball and cube for reference for perspective and lighting.
HDRI:
We all had backup plates to give us options in case the other plates would not work. For each set of images we have the reference, cube, ball, clean plate, shadow plate, and HDR.
And some behind the scenes pictures of our process, including fanning during filming to have some movement in the plate.
